So just out of curiousity I installed a mechanical gyro on my L/R cyclic. I fly a .30 size Shuttle and even with the rate cranked up it did not seem to help any.
My initial thinking was right however ; in order for the gyro to keep the Heli level your skids would have to be swinging. In my testing I have learned, when in a hover it is more a side to side movement rather than a left to right and right to left swing. Just thought I would post my krazy little test just in case anyone was saving for another Gyro!
Just can't beat the co-pilot I guess!
