Anyone out there use this or have any information on this radio? I have the Airtronics RD6000 Sport now but I was thinking on maybe buying this radio. I checked it out on www.hitecrcd.com and it sounds like a good choice. It has a five point throttle and pitch curves and all the other added features. But its always nice to hear from someone who has or had one. Thanks

I have one its a fine radio for the money. I hear the standard servos fail alot, but I haven't had any problems so far.Now if I could keep a battery from dying I would get to fly more!

I have one and I like mine, excellent radio for the price. I'm using mine with a Raptor 30. No complaints and easy to program.

I recently switched from a Futaba 9V to the Eclipse 7. I love it! I use it for my helis and my planes. More than enough features and a great value.
I heartily recommend it........

I have one and have been an avid hitec fan for quite a while. I own both a prism 7x and an eclipse 7. There are a few things that the eclipse desperatly needs to make it easier to use. Number one. for people with even medium to large hands the throttle hold toggle is too far away from the sticks. that can be rectified by moving the switch.

Number two, it needs indexing marks on the sticks so you can consistently put the throttle stick at the same spot for programming purposes.

The dials are at spots that are impossible to adjust unless you remove your hand from the stick (like the throttle hold but unmovable)

those are the only thing I think that it really needs and if you are willing to void your warrantee and mod the case they can be easily fixed. All in all it is an excellent TX for the money. that and the spectra module is wonderful!

Eclipse7 with ERGO50

I am using mine with all my planes and my Helicopters. It is a great radio and a real good price. It offers all but PCM and I can live with that very well. I would by it again or an airtronics 6000 super...
No problems with servos at all!
