I just bought a used Hirobo bell 47g,It has a 25cc weedwacker engine and is all metal except for the canopy. Ok heres the probblem. After I got it, I installed my radio and took it out and hovered it around for a tank full, refilled it and fired it up again. With it just sitting on the ground the throttle started to speed up all by its self and the other servos were moving all over like I had lost the radio..Luckly I got the eng killed before it took off!!!!!! After a full inspection, I found that one of the tail brace trusses was lose where it bolts to the main frame with out the eng running I could wiggle the truss and the servos would go nuts!! Tighten everthing up, and for the heck of changed out the recevier for another.Took it out again, fired it up all seemed well for the first couple minutes and it did it again!@! When it does this I have no control from the trans. I have found out also if I lay the trans. flat on the ground the servos do there own thing and the radio check is only about forty feet with the ant down. The batteries are fully charged.I know the probblem is not in the radio I put it in a concept and flew it yesterday. ANY HELP ON THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of quick things to check;, where is the antenna? If you do not have a base loaded antenna, try putting that on and mount under the front canopy away from the engine. Also, pull out the plug and look and see if there is any crap on the electrode, as sometimes this will also glitch when the plug is dirty. Besides the obvious of being sure all the bolts are tight, check the mainshaft bearings to be sure there is no notchy feel to them.

metal to metal

any metal to metal make and break will cause interference. for example, I scratch built the 30 size hirobo lama tail out of metal. I also bolted the thing to the main body where i had also rebuilt it with metal. well, when i painted everything seperatly, then bolted it all together, it worked great. till after a few tanks and then i started getting hits!! at a FF, some one sugested that i take all the paint off the BOLT TOGETHER points. That was the trick. I was wearing through the paint little by little and it was making and breaking contact causeing the interference. so eather isolate them completly, or ground them together. (the metal point that is)
