It's very nice for an ARF.
This one I built last Oct. 2001. This was my first time building the Century ARF version. It did not take me long, about 7 hours I spent building this kit. I spent an hour to install the retracts. This is the most time consuming from the kit. Well as you know installing retract gear is always difficult in this hobby. Anyway the retracts work very smooth, I used two cheap Hitec servos for the retracts. They are regular servos. I figure those servos don't drain too much juice from my battery, besides I have an 1800 ma on-board. So I don't need to be concerned about running out of power.
The mechanic was already assembled, I practically did nothing except installed the engine, linkage and radio.
The fuse is pre-painted with super gloss finish.
This bird flies very well, the tail response is unbelievable strong. It weights just over 8 lbs. with Mark's scale when he was in Vegas.
My next project is Century Airwolf ARF. I will let you guys know when I’m done.
See you

Oh Man!

The more I look at this, the more I want one! Great video! I've always liked the 222. I'm moving to all scale and this one would be a great addition to the hangar. Maybe after Joe Nall and I see how much $$ I have left. I'll just have to not buy anything but food that weekend and eat cheap!

I bought mine back in Jan. and I just started building the mechanics 2 nights ago while also tring to work on 2 other heli's for my friends. That is one reason I've taken so long to get started on it.

As usual the century parts packing guys have screwed me on little stuff like defective linkage rods, missing TR drive wire tube that goes in the holders and crap like that. But over all, most of the 5 century heli's I've built (3 Ravens 30/46/50, a Falcon 46 SE, Hawk II, and now this) fly great and are reliable.

I will be taking my time on this one as I got the Kit not the ARF. I like custom paint better than centurys. Just more personable.
I'm looking forward to flying it when it's completed. Scale is cool!
