Hello Guys/Gals - I have a question and was hoping someone could help me out ? After building my raptor 30, Installing radio etc, I went to test fly it for the first time and after working out some vibration bugs when I go to take off my heli wants to go left and back on an angle.
I tried to trim it out [Forward trim] a little at a time but there was no happy medium, went from left and back to left and forward. I know it is supposed to go left but not backwards. I am pretty new at heli's and could use a little help please... Thanks, Scorf
PS. All linkages were setup as per instuctions.

To all the who posted a reply : First of all Thank you very much for your input, The R/C Community has got to harbor the nicest people anywhere. My hats off to anyone & everyone who takes the time out to help a total stranger. We need more people like you in this world.

I found the problem with your help, It happened to be a miss adjusted link to the flybar { That I thought was right } Now everything is much better. Thanks again, Scorf AkA Darryl,

Sounds like possibly it could be some binding, servo problem, or radio set up. Email me with more details and I will try and help you solve your problem

Hang it from the flybar the gear should be level or slightly nose down WO fuel. Moving to the LT is normal

It is normal.

Its normal for the heli to drift to the left when lifting off of the ground. Don't waste your time trying to trim it for take off. Trim it out while hovering. But you can check your center of gravity if your so inclined by gently picking up the heli with your fingers by the flybar close to the head. Check it fore/aft & port/starbord.

I wouldn't use the flybar. Just turn the head so that the axis you want to check is movable. I don't think you will break your heli by lifting it from the flybar( as long as it's close to the head) but then again i'm unsure of the strength so be safe and lift from the head.

Just needs a little work...

Sounds like tight ball links, get a Jr Ball link sizing tool, and take the tightness out of all of the ball links..., also make sure your swash plate is perfectly level, on both airelon and elevator axis., I used a square piece of metal and put it up under the swash plate at hover posistion, both at the side and to the front of the swash plate, it was quite a bit off from being level, I also used the push rod lenghts as instructed in the manual, BEFORE I double checked it using this method., hopes this helps! Joe.
