I have a 8417 JR servo on my raptor tail with a GY401 and it seems like the servos making huge interference on my radio system,when i move the rudder stick back and forth all servos jitter,also its making a grinding sound and it has a lot of vibration.Maby the servo is worn out causing the jittering,i unplugged it and all went away, weird.Anybody ever had this happen?

If I recall you can't run a JR digital on a 401in high frame rate, the servo could fail. Go with a 9253 if you keep having problems.

I am assuming that it has metal gears as most digitals do. I would think some of the teeth are worn out or something causing interference(metal on metal). Open your servo and see what is out of the ordinary. Pay close attention before you pull of the gears so you know how it goes back together. If this is not the problem it MIGHT be bad bushings in the motor or something. Stuff like the latter you can not easily check. Hope i have been of some help.

servo jitters

I just noticed my R30 is starting to behave the same way Although I'm using a telebee gyro and Airtronics 94322 servo the symptoms are the same. I started fiddling with the gain control and noticed that the jitters went away if I turned the gain way down. I wonder if the gyro is starting to go flakey on me...
