| Hi Sydney,
I think the problem is that flying the 3DNT is so addicting, it's all you want to do - no time for writing reviews I've been flying 3 tanks almost every day and I don't want to stop.
In all seriousness, it's really fun to fly and it gives me such confidence that I'm trying out a new maneuver every time I go out & fly - I'm not even bothering with the simulator anymore.
Here's a short review:
- it's stable (except maybe in very gusty winds - but that can be attributed to it's low weight)
- it's extremely maneuverable - but not twitchy
- flies like on rails - you point it where you want it to go and it keeps exactly that path. Of course, there's a downside to this: I can't blame anything else if I make a mistake.
- low rpm possible for most 3D flying (1200-1400 head speed) - hence low noise
- NO maintenance. This can't be stressed enough. My buddy has a Raptor 60 with a 90 engine and he's tinkering ALL the time. I can just fly and only have to worry about refuling and charging the battery! (OK, one thing as of the last 3 flying days - the nipple on the pipe keeps coming off even after JB Welding it - sigh)
- very clean, simple design allows for low parts count - hence also very easy maintenance (if that's ever needed). The parts are also of incredible precision which makes all the controls absolutely slop free - and it stays that way.
I'm going on vacation soon and will take some time to write a more formal review.
There's a review in English from the UK:
