Today was a great day to go and fly so out the door I went. Got to the field I have the first tank gone and fired it up ready for the next. Got in to a hover and I did a no no which sent it to the ground. Man now i was mad at my self for such a dumb move. That was until I got it home looked it all over and I could only find a dent fly bar stripped gears in the servo and two control rods. Now Im thinking man this is going to cost me all of 13.00 dollars. You got to love raptors. PS no it's not for sale LOL Ted

Well if you realy want to know. I was coming in for a landing and I was spinning the tail around so that I could land backwards well I must have misjudged it because when it got 90deg to me the skids hit the ground. So yes i was kindy mad at my self intill I got home. lol yes I can laugh about it now. PS RAPTORS ARE GRATE to bad that there are people out there that don't like them.

Seneca,
You have my vote as the "Master Stirrer". I think I have finally figured out why you bought a Raptor. So you could say, "Hey, I have one!" just after you have given it a swift kick in the pants! hehehe..

My motto is this..Fly...Rebuild...Fly

Hey Seneca is a blast to have around, he keeps things relaxed. The only problem I have, is if he ever offered any advice I'd be afraid to follow it for fear my sub standard Raptor would blow up.

P.S. I don't mean he doesn't know what he's doing, I just don't know when he's serious or just kidding.

Well if the above seems to be childish :-) , my case is even worst.
10 years ago I was flying my concept 10SX inverted by using only a switch.

So, during the first flight of the day I fired up the engine and I advanced the throttle to take off. But the heli never took off, so I reduced collective to verify the Throttle and pitch curve, because I though that it might something had changed. The heli took off when I reduced the collective to idle and moreover moved backwards. I tried to correct it by advancing the stick forward but the heli crashed with the tail. Main blades, feathering spindles etc were the result of forgeting the inverted switch on.

The whole event is recorded in a video tape and what is funny is my expression. I had the impression that it was jamming (Immediately the easiest conclusion). Although, now it seems funny, those days wasn't.

Have a nice day guys!!
