What kind of shake? If it's moving left and right more than 1" at a low frequency then your gyro gain is probably too high too high and it's hunting. If it's vibrating up and down at medium to high frequency then your tail rotor is out of balance. A high freq left/right vibration is probably a balance problem in the clutch or fan. A low freq vibration might be the rotorhead/blades out of balance.

What head speed are you running?
How tight are your main/tail blade grips?
Is your blade tracking ok?
Are you using training gear?

Please describe your problem in greater detail so we can help you out.

Oh, and I wouldn't fly it until you have tracked down the problem or you might shake something apart and a vibration will be the last of your concerns.

I'm gonna say that it's probably the gyro gain being too high. try turning the gyro gain down. If you have a Futaba GY 401 I'd start it at 60% gain in HH mode. Hover it and see if the tail wags. If not, land and turn up the gain by 5% and try again. Repeat until the tail wags then back it down 5-10% and you should be set. If the tail wags with the gain below 60-70% the gyro might not be mounted firmly (with the included mounting tape) or there is another vibration problem in the heli with is causeing the gyro to act up. The heli needs to be as vibration free as possible for everything to work well.

You posted while I was typing.

Try loosening the tail blade grips until they are just tight enough to hold the blades in place, but still move easily by hand. This will ensure that the blades can find their proper lead/lag and cg.

I hope this helps,

Mike
