Ok never had this problem before. I just got done puting a new deans antenna on and it only does a range check of about 15 ft. Thats not good before i could get about 100 yards or more. Do I need to change the length of the antenna or what? The batt. and the recever was good to go before I put this one on.

I have similar problem, but in my case I thing this is related to the Metal Frame of my GPH 346

On the Shuttle ZXX the range is 100 feets
On the GPH 346 is around 15 feets

The GPH is fly OK without any problem.

What heli you are using????

I have a GPH with a HHI whip antenna and perform succesfully a range check 100 feet away.

In the past it was mounted on the front leg. Now it is mounted under the gear frame, inside the canopy.
