Which gyro is better? with the Futaba 9253 digital servo i figure both would be great, what are your experiences with either, and which do you recommend to use with the new Futaba 9CHP radio?

Thanks!

Either is a fine choice, I have the GY502 and its main advantage over the 401 is that you can fiddle with its settings "if you want". Most of these settings are fairly automatic in nature anyway so unless you fly FAI or serious 3D its not critical anyway. I bought mine so that IF I want to fiddle with it I could just in case down the rd when my skills get better. For the money the 401 wins hands down tho.

I have 1 502 and 2 401's and a 601.

The 502 only offers a couple of adjustments
over the 401 and most of them aren't required.

The 601 kicks ass.

IMO, for most anything you want to do, the 401 is fine.

sounds great, im really focusing on a system that i can grow into. I will probably go with the 502, despite the higer cost. first of all, it looks cool. second of all, as you guys said, it has some features i could mess with, IF i wanted to or needed too. In the future, when i get a second or third heli, i will go for the 601, or who knows by that time, there could be a 901! Thanks for the feedback!! Chris
