i have the astroflight 020 combo castle creations 35 speed control in my corona
i fly around for a minute or two and then the motor shuts down then comes back on. did anyone ever have this trouble.i been fighting this for two weeks and sooner or later its going to crash me.castle creations sent me a new speed controler and it does the same thing. im having them send me a 45 amp speed control to see if i have better luck with it. im running a 7 cell 3300 nmh battery and it flys 11 to 12 minutes if i could keep the motor from cutting out. any input to this forum would really be appriciated. thanks Ron

I've been fighting the same problem, I don't know if i have it solved yet but i noticed the motor gets very hot with the canopy on, if i fly without the canopy the motor stays cool and i can fly out a full pack without the motor cutting out.
I'm running a cc35 9 tooth pinion with a mega 16/15/3 on 8 cell 2600 nicads.
I'm going to try a heatsink and an 8 tooth pinion to see if i can get the motor to unload alittle and maybe run cooler.

problem

castle creations seems to think its the speed control. i ordered a 45 amp instead of the 35 amp that comes with the combo. my motor doesnt get that hot. it cuts out even when it isnt hot. Ron

Corona are notorious for glitching..are you sure its not a glitch...keep your receiver far as you can from motor......most people use a deans antenna........
