Has any one been able to fast charge the 9ZHWC2 battery pack with delta V type charger( Hitec 535). The Tx will not turn on with the diode out of the circuit. If you a have been able to fast charge the battery please tell me how to do it.

I tried the bypass method and it works well. I have bought a second battery already since the radio is quite pricey and deserves it.

bypassing will work but you'll put the batt on the fast track to a short life. tx batteries are not the same as r/c car batteries - the slower the better

like the man said futaba sells jumper for about $5, i've charged this way for 10 years with no problems, the new batt wcII is 1100 mah and lasts for a long, long time. however i replaced one of my packs with 1600 nimh batts, fast charge and 4-5 hours of use with out getting to 9.6. love it, c-ya

Please cancel my clearance, I have the field in sight.

Horizon sells a charger that will automatically bypass the diode and charge at 800 mah. I own one and it seems to work well. It's called a Double Vision.
