| There is one potential problem.
The rapid gain switch flipping used to reset the neutral in HH can be imitated by a radio glitch. If this happens while you have some rudder applied you will have to hold that amount of rudder until you can flip the switch again to reset the neutral.
This used to happen to me once a month of so with a GY501 and a PPM receiver. Maybe the 401 is a bit smarter about filtering the gain control input. You will find out, I guess.
Once you know this can occur it's usually not a problem to deal with. Either land while holding the rudder, and then recenter the gyro, or get into a steady hover, let it piro and do the switch flip. |
