Last week we received a visit from the favourite of all thieves, the Pikeys...

Items stolen were 2 ride on lawnmowers and an Oil Burning Rayburn Stove

Well on the bright side a note of thanks. Some years ago you set up my first heli for me after my LHS had made a right botch of it. I thank you for assisting my entry into this sport and am happy to report that I am still completely useless.

What's a "Pikey"? Highwayman? Gypsy? Somethin' like that?

Pikey is a TYPE of gypsy...

Not a real Gypsy, but the kind that claims any land as its own, starts running a scrap metal business and dodgy tarmaccing setup...

Steals anything that isnt bolted down, and breaks into anything that is...

The kind that when they are in town, crime rate soars....

LiDL is a type of supermarket that specialises in bottom end prices and cheaper goods...

Actually have some good stuff, but thats only humour after all

So, they're like our summertime roof-and-driveway-repair crews over here. The ones that are in town long enough to remove two squares of roofing, enlarge a driveway pothole in preparation for filling, empty your bank account and find the nearest lonely road outta town to the next bunch of suckers.
