Hiya

Still trying to figure out where my rolls are going pear shaped, sorry about a new thread but it will highlight the problem and hopefully get me a quick answer.

Right the inner swas has 4 studs, 2 long and 2 short.

Page 21 of the manual says to connect the 2 arms of the washout to the longer studs.

Looking further into the manual the pictuires appear to show the washout connected to the shorter studs i.e top of page 22 (Dia 17) as they angle in more.

I posted recently about a lack of pitch in the aileron.

I feel if the washout was connected to the shorter studs and the mixing levers to the longer ones this would give me more pitch in left and right aileron.

It may also be the reason why my rolls are so crappy.

Then again, I may be wrong.

Could someone check there heli and let me know of they have the washout connected to the long studs as per the manual.

Hi Martin

Thanks, I use the 401 gyro and another thing |I thought earlier was to try it maybe in normal rate mode as opposed to HH mode as like you say if I go in crooked it will corkscrew through.

As for headspeed, I'm using a GV1, idle 1 set at 1750, idle 2 set at 1850, I've tried both and the same thing happens. Engine doesnt load up at all.

I'll leave the washout arms on the long studs and try it in rate mode first (Forgot earlier on as I was so fed up)

I don't know if anyone is doing it on the Sceadu, but I use all long ball studs on the inner swash. It supposedly gives it better cyclic response. I don't know because I changed them fairly early on because I wanted to set them in with red Loctite and didn't want to risk needing to change them latter.
