Not too difficult, but the Venture is probably the heaviest 30-sized heli there is.

You would need to fabricate a mount (our of .060 aluminum or such), purchase a suitable brushless motor and ESC (which will run a little over $500), and you'll need to find a way to secure the batteries (16-20 cells) and purchase an appropriate pinion.

I recall the Venture has a pretty standard main gear.

If you are really interested, we can chat on the phone and it would be alot easier to go into details... If I could get a few photos of the side frames I could go into more detail about the pain involved.

Let me know.

Thanks Warren.
I would like to get a larger heli, can get a good deal on a Venture and don't really want to go to nitro. I didn't know it was a heavy heli, so maybe not the best choice for an electric conversion. Know anything about the Voyager E? I know it will be neceassary to upgrade to brushless, so I didn't want to pay more for electrics I wouldn't use. I would like to stick to 8 cell NIMH or 3 cell Li-poly. I don't know if thats possible though. Nitro just seems very messy and noisy!
Thanks
Craig

PiccoFlyer,

This link will take you to Ron Osinski's (GMRO) Venture-E page. It's not a lot of info but from there you may be able to get more from Ron himself. Looks like a pretty nice set-up and Ron is a great guy ( he's been loads of help with my Voyager E).

Click here for GMRO's Venture E page.

Have Fun !!
