Hi guys,
I've got a 401 with 9253 on my Voyager 50 with 95mm NHP tailblades.

When doing quick jabs of the rudder in the hover, the gyro seems to display a 'preference' for direction.

For example, when I give a jab of left rudder the gyro instantly stops and holds like you would expect.

However, do the same for right rudder and it kinda 'bounces', anyone got any ideas? I'm running a Super 8.

Thanks,
Si

try tweaking the 'delay' adjustment on the 401 unit.

401 bounce

When using a digital servo, delay should be set to "0". Try tweaking the gain slightly lower.

I tried that (reducing the gain), but it still seems to have a slight 'preference'. Maybe I should put the standard tail blades back on and see if it does it with those?

HMMMM..

Maybe it's because of the rotor rotation?Do you have the tail speed set up to be the same in either direction?Try slowing it a bit in that direction to see if it stops.
