I purchased 3 JR NES-513 servos for use in my scale fuse retracts. Horizon identifies these as ideal for retracts. My problem is that I cannot get them to react to travel / end point adjustments in my TX.

I am using a 10x with R950S receiver. I plug the servo in the gear channel, and have activated the gear switch in the 10x. The servo responds to the switch by moving to its travel limits in both directions. If I change the Code 12 travel setting % it has no effect to servo throw. This is the case for all 3 servos so I know it is unlikely a servo defect. Yet, when I replace the servo with an 8231 it responds appropriately.

The only effect the Code 12 seems to have on the 513 is when I reduce the setting to below 10%, it noticably slows down the servo travel speed, but again the limits are unchanged. Strange.

Any ideas on what is happening here?

?? WOW ??

No responses. Did I stump you guys with this one??

Get this - I just received the following email reply from Horizon:

"The 513 servos are non proportional servos. They can not be adjusted.
Thanks for your email. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us."

I CAN'T BELEIVE IT!!!! Take a look on their product description:

They advertise this servo as ideal for retracts. How in the world could one setup a retract without the ability to adjust endpoints and total travel? Am I missing something here, or do you agree I have ample reason to expect reimbursement/exchange from Horizon?
