| Most use All Synthetic oil. Castor is a bit messy, stains the muffler, etc. You can use it, it is just less appealing than synthetic. I don't know what oil byron uses. If it is low viscosity then you should add oil. If it is high viscosity, I would still think you would want 18%. If it is Klotz then it is probably high viscosity but the only one I know that has Klotz already in it is Wildcat. If you use a good fuel and you are using it for what it is designed for then there is no reason to add oil. Don't run it lean in any case. That will ruin the engine. You could use engines made to perform better with low oil and low nitro. I know nothing about those. Does Byron not make a 15% "2&4 cycle" fuel? |
