I just received a new battery (Tanic 6 Cell, 22.2v, 2200mah) and can not get it working. When I plug it in to my esc (Kontronik Beat 40-6-12) the only thing that happens is a continuous blinking red light. When I plug any other battery in everything works fine. Does anyone have a clue to what might be the problem? I have searched the internet, and manuals but can’t find anything.

You are way over the max voltage limit for the Beat 40-6-12. It is a 6 to 12 cell speed control using Nicds or Nimh which would put the maximum input voltage of around 19 volts. The Tanic 6 cell battery when fully charged is 25.2 volts.
