| hello all!!!
i am new to runryder. i am pretty much all about scale. of the 15 years that i have been flying model helicopters, 14 1/2 of those was flying something in a fuselage. while i can 3d well enough to impress a non rc helicopter audience, i enjoy flying a scale heli pretty much the way you'd see the real thing fly. i think the countless hours i spend and cuss words i come up with while installing light and retracts are well worth it when that thing is sitting in a hover right there in front of you and you're watching it all work. my favorite part of scale is duplicating a fullsize machine's paint and then getting a photo of the two together. nine out of ten times that i do that, it gets me a ride in the fullsize machine. unfortunately since i am not millitary, it does not work with the millitary birds. hey i am lucky to get a shot with both. i have an apache and a 58d and too bad that uncle sam is very picky about photos with these. i also have a 66 comanche and it will be a while before i get a closeup of that.
well enough of that, i will be posting some fleet pics soon.
