| It happened to my Rappy30 too but instead of dropping 2" to 3", It dropped by almost a foot, three times in a row. The guys at the flying field helped me to figure out if the problem was a glitch. After so many radio orientation/distance checking, we came into a conclusion that it might be the collective servo. I was using the servo that came with the radio which was the standard S148 that i converted to ball bearing. I replaced it with a Futaba S1202 (coreless high torque) and guess what?, that problem disappeared and it's almost three months now. Now i am a happy flyer. Hope this helps. |
