Although I've already given you my opinion on another thread (Yes it will, with no problems ), let me suggest that you try the Voyager E Group over on Yahoo groups. While I love it here and the info is great, the VE group is type specific and they have a vast amount of knowledge about the VE and all it's parts and pieces. Give them a try.

You bet

I run 8-cells on my stock setup and have no problems whatsoever.
No issues with overheating the ESC or Motor.

I can't imagine running on 7 cells as they recommend....

The esc can handle the 8 cells, but with 8 cells, my stock motor consumed brushes very quickly.
