| They come in NiCad, they come in NiMi, they come in Lion, ect. They come in AAA size to D size. 4.8v is the norm for most rc aircraft, 6v works, but not in all cases. Some fellows here are experimenting with Lions that produce something like 7.2v and use voltage regulators to lower the voltage to 5v or so. Some have had voltage regulators fail. If you can afford to be one that wants to be at the cutting edge of technology and be a guinny pig, more power to you. Keep us informed, please. Do a search on batteries and you will be rewarded with a multitude of good solid hits.
