I have play in the blade holder such that if you push and pull the blade it moves in and out. It seems that there is a bit to much room for the bearings, thrust bearing and spacer. All the bearings are new or in very good condition.
Is this normal and will it cause problems?????
All my other choppers do not have this problem.
Any help or suggestions welcome.

Normal

About 1/2 to 1mm is normal. Centrifugal force loads the bearings so in operation there is no play.

What capebob said is correct. But, go through your assembly steps and make sure you did not forget anything though, like the Bk0096 Flap Collar. Also, look at both locknuts and see if there is equal (or at elast close to it) threads sticking out of them. I can see about 2mm of the BK0009 Feathering Shaft sticking through mine.
