I'm doing an all yellow scheme on my Sceadu
The blades are the stock wood type.
They have some sort of Cover on them like Mono coat.
Can I take that off and Put Yellow Monocoat on them?

Blade covering

Yes, you can cover your blades with Monokote or your favorite plank covering material. I use one piece of covering and start at the trailing edge top 1/4" over lap moving or wraping toward the leading edge then back to the trailing edge. I seal the covering to itself at the 1/4" over lap and use a heat gun to finish the covering to the blade like regular heli blade heat shrink.

yep...

The same approach worked well for me. When I do it again, I'll go over the blades (lightly) with that porcupine tool they sell to reduce bubbling... Make sure to seal the exposed wood surface with CA, paint, or whatever...

I just happened to have some leftover Monocoat from My J-3 Cub.
I'll try it and see what happens
should I remove whats on there or just put the monocoat ontop of whats already on the blades

Dude, please not cub yellow anything but cub yellow.

Just kidding.

At my field here in Sarasota it seems like we have a cub in the air at all times, 50% of the club fly Cubs and we have around 250 or so members. The Cub guys are having a Cub fly-in and their calling it "Yellow Overcast". All we need is a chopper with cub yellow paint and a black lighting bolt.

or at least some black ones with yellow swirl.
