I guess any time you successfully bring a heli back in with one control missing, you've lucked out.. Still, I didn't realize I had gotten so many parts on what turned out to be just a hard landing:

one Stripped 9252 servo gear set
tail boom (slightly bent)
flybar
feathering spindle
torque tube
possible main shaft
scuffed tips on the V-Blades

The real surprise here was the torque tube. The boom was bent slightly upward (maybe 4 degrees) and I guess since the torque tube was spinning, it released the glue around the dogbone on the transmission side of the torque tube.

Guess I'm out of the heli business for a few weeks till I find a new radio system.

You have 9C problems too ?????

The short of two long stories. The first, I was flying my Fury and I lost it for about 10 seconds, just before it could hit the brick wall I was able to regain control. Afterwards I was told that I needed to get PCM receivers. The second incident, I was at the flying field with my new PCM receiver and OS91 installed into my Fury. I hovered for a half a tank, landed, refueled, and back to a hover again. Seconds into my hovering my Fury, with no throttle imput, just went straight up for about 100 ft.. My heli was all over the place. Over the pits where our cars were parked and everything. Mind you, out of 100% control I only had about, maybe 20% control. After the second pass over the pits, it was on its way for and third pass, so I pulled the throttle stick down, and into the ground went my Fury. I didn't start to have these problems until I switched over to the 9C from the 8U Super. I also, took out the Ch 60 module from my 8U and put it into the 9C. Also when I was using the 8U I only used FM receivers.

You cant tell me it ain't the raido

Do you have have your PCM Fail Safe (F/S) menu set up on the 9C? I have mine set to go to idle on the throttle and hold on all other channels. Mine never went to idle or lost any controls other than the "aileron" stick.

Fail Safe

No, I didnt have it set up. But, I was talking to Futaba Rep at the Toledo Show, and he said that if I had any control of the model that the fail safe wouldn't work anyway.
