Main Discussion > Vibrating tail boom ?

Hi everyone,
I burned 2 tanks of fuel hovering my Nexus for the 1st time since my "mishap" 2 weeks ago. Everything seems to be fine now except for when my heli is IDLING. At this time there is a high freq vibration in the tail boom. I can't see the vibration, but i can hear it. Once again, this is at idle without the MR or TR turning. Does anybody have an idea what this might be. I checked the engine mounting bolts just to make sure and they are tight. Thanks.

Possibly engine/clutch/fan alignment. Give it a try if you haven't already. My Raptor's boom supports were doing that if you put your finger on them, I realigned the engine and all was well.
Hope this helps
