Just started building my Autogyro Co. Of Az. PA-22 kit. Anything I need to watch out for? Any hints or tips to improve it? Thanks in advance.

This kit you need to look at the two large main formers so that the stringers will run horizontal. Also put a piece of plywood on the back of the firewall. Also buy the delux package because you will spend more to do it without. Use a 40 4-stroke motor. If your new to flying this get the video it will save the bird. You can make the cheek cowls out of plastic spoons. Your first flight you will havev a high pucker factor and make sure you have a 5 to 8 mile an hour head wind. My friend has one succesful flight on his as of saturday and it is still in one piece.

I have one not yet finished (I have started to build the kit in January). It will be electric driven by an outrunner brushless motor powered by a 8 cell GP 3300. The kit may be well designed for a thermic motor, but for an electric, if you use an othe rmotor than the Hacker B50, some rework is needed in the nose area.

Also, I don't like the installation of the battery pack through the propeller disc, I have only 10 fingers and I want to keep them in place...

Otherwise, it is a well designed kit, but for experienced builders.
