Thunder Tiger Raptors 30-90 - Imperio > TT Carbon Blades - GREAT!

I just checked a pair of the Thunder Tiger carbon blades and found the weight to be within 1/10 of a gram, cordwise and lengthwise CGs were perfect. They fly great too. The price is right at $79. I have no affiliation with TT, just thought I'd pass on some good news.

Mine balanced out just fine too just bolted them on and flew, they are very good blades, it sounds like they are made by SAB for TT. Now I hope they get the 550's and 600's on the market.

They are awesome blades. They are not made by SAB unless SAB makes Rotorsports. They are made by what used to be TG. They are basically Rotorsport blades with a thinner root (12mm vs. 14mm) and are 20mm shorter. I switched to these from 700mm because the shorter blades don't bog the motor as much.

Sounds good to me, I was just repeating what I read at Heliproz and they thought they were SAB's. Doesn't matter to me as long as they keep em coming.

Yes. Awesome blades. Little disappointed in the autoing capabilities. But, only slightly disappointed. Other than that they are wonderful for the money spent.

I use them on a Fury and they auto GREAT. Inverted autos, knife-edge pirouetteing autos, pirouetteing, skidding, etc. And they have enough at the end to turn it around and park it by my leg.

SAB and TG both make blades for MA under the Rotorsport name. Got a set of RS 680s at home with SAB engraved in the blade.

Yes, SAB makes blades for MA. So does MAH now. However, the TT blades do not look like the SAB blades. Look at the root area of the blades. They are much different.

Scroll down the page and look at the “Symmetrical 3-D” Type blades. In the picture there are SABs and TG (or what used to be TG).

The blades with the short root before blending into the blades are SAB and the ones with the long roots are TG.

TT blades out of balance out of the box

I bought a pair of TT white gelcoat blades after reading this thread saying how good this blades was. When I got the blades, I went straight to the flying field, took the blades out of the box and install them im my raptor 60. To my dissappointment, the heli was shaking really bad. Took the blades out and re-install the stock woodies and the heli was smooth as glass. Went back home and checked the balance of the new TT blades and they were way off. I don't know by how much in grams but I did have to put a lot of tracking tape in one blade just to get them to balance. I haven't tried it yet, going to today.
I bought them from heliproz for $79.

I know some will disagree but I think SAB are the best deal for the money, not to say they all will be perfect all the time, but I have had 6 set's and not a problem

My blades right out of the box would work but I too had a vibration condition. The blades only took a small bit of tape to balance, weather here has sucked so I do not know how they work yet. Other than that the blades look and feel fine, money well spent.

TT blades

I have flown my Raptor 60 with the TT blades that I balanced today. Everything is great, better than the stock woodies.
