Very good heli. You need to get it configured right and I'm not finished with that process yet. The Hacker motor ran too hot. The Wettenberg is better, but the Schultze ESC crapped out after the first 10 minutes. With the Hacker ESC and Wettenberg motor, could only get 1500 rpm blade speed maximum with an 11 tooth pinion. However, I think all this can be solved, but it is still a work in process.

I have been flying a Logo 24 for about 2 months now
It nice and smooth
I also am using a Hacker C50 19XL on an 11 tooth pinion with the Hacker ESC and 2 x 4s4p Lipos packs
I am not sure why rchelyflyer is saying that hackers run to hot
Do you mean that there to high of head speed or that the motor its self gets to hot after you get done flying
So far I am very happy with this setup

What kind of flight times are you getting with your lipos?
Also, what is the total weight?

Flight times, I do 3, 7 min flights and them recharge, most of the time I put 6200 to 6500 mah back in the packs after the 3 flights, you could maybe get one more 3 or 4 min flight but I like to be careful with these pack

Now for the weight I have never weighed the total heli with Lipos in it
I know that if you look at the 2600 mah round cells they weigh 61.1oz (2oz per cell) and the Thunder Power 8000 mah total weight is 49.6oz so you can see there is some weight saving
I will weigh the logo24 with the lipos in it tonight and let you know
the total weight

C50 19XL Hacker on 8S4P thunder power lipolies, power is ballistic with 12 tooth pinion, flights need to be 10 minutes or less, I generally fly two 8 minute flights, due to heating. With onboard cooling fan (mikado part) temps are Ok for a full length flight of 16~18 minutes. With 11 tooth pinion, temps are Ok without the fan for complete flight, but just barely. This is a high-performance setup, so things are pushed quite hard, hence the temps. You could go with a milder "sport" motor like the pletti's to keep temps down and such, but I don't find that nearly as much fun.

Wow ,Gary you have move from the 11 tooth pinion to 12
Mine flys very nice with the 11 tooth, But I do have a 12 tooth on the shelve
I haven't put an cooling fans or fin on any thing yet, But remember I am in Utah and the temp. is 20 deg outside right now
I do need to get that cooling fan mount from mikado for the summer
Gary do you know the part number off the top of you head
Do you know if Aeromodels has them?
