I have a new 1800 mA NIMH 4.8v battery pack. & I read all kinds of posts that said not to quick charge on the first or even second charge but to do a c/10 for 15 hrs until the pack is charged. Well I have a Hobbico Accu-Cycle that I charged the pack @ 125mA for like about 25 hrs. (well below the 180mA required) When I discharged it, it only took out 1110 mA (per the display) what have I done wrong?? Or is it suppose to be that way? Any help would be much appreciated.

Red has some excellent information on his site. Take a look:

you probably haven't done anything
'wrong'.

It's VERY common for NiMH packs
to require 2-3 full slow cycles to reach
their rated capcity.

Do it again.

Thanks I read the Battery Clinic's site & it's very good, I was just wondering if I had done anything wrong...thanks Z11355 I'll do that. Do anyone know at what point I can fast charge these? My guess is when the're up to capacity.??
