I have a GV-1 on the way but have downloaded the mauual. Have a few questions.
I see you can set sw1, sw2, and sw3. They show an example of
0, 50, and 100 to corispond to thoes positions. Looks like for normal flying around the GV-1 is not used. I thought that was the idea of the govenor in the first place. Also, thoes numbers dont exactly corispond to an actual RPM is this correct. If someone that knows this unit would let me give them a call on land line I would be gratefull.

Man you have one heck of a combo on your hands I just finished setting up the same combo on a freya 91. Here is what I learned from some rebs at the Phoenix Fun Fly. I have my set up as follows: I set up my curves as dictated in my Frey bible. I then linked the on/off to ch9 and to sw B. then I linked sw C (3pos) to the 0-50-100 you are refering too. I then set the 10%(pos1)=1450;50%(pos2)1650;90%(pos3)1850. I then did a pmix to knob B on channel7. I set the value to 40% so what this does is let me adjust the rpm from the radio. Here are the numbers I have right now: Pos1 1380-1550rpm; Pos2 1550-1750rpm; Pos3 1750-1920rpm. After all this and my 601 hooked up I still have ch8 open. Maybe an inflight needle? This is why I used ch9 as it is on/off only. Those three % 0-50-100 are adjustments on the GV you can change the value for each postion. I set mine at 10-50-90 for get full use of my rotorary knob otherwise it on worked one direction in pos 1-3 and worked both ways in pos2
Feel free to e-mail about the call.

I am not given the option to use channel 9 for on/off only 7 or 8? I have emailed you for a phone number. And the Pmix does not give me a choice of knob B only switch B.
