I just took out three of my S9206 servos in a crash (CCPM)

All three have the same two gears missing teeth - the plastic ones.

The only 'repair' kits I seem to be able to get are costing £25 each and include the not needed metal bits

I've checked both 3003's and 3001's to see if they match but the size is minutely different! Do I have to fork out £75 to get these things back in one piece or is there another way.

I've already had to spend over £250 to repair the rest of the model and this will probably 'tip me over the edge'

Any advice gratefully recieved.

www.futaba-rc.com has a gear set cross reference somewhere in its depths.

It shows the part numbers of the individual gears and the gear sets that use them Use it to figure out which all-plastic gear sets contain the gears you need.

Can't get hold of Futaba in the UK at the moment, but looking at the weather outside I'm not all that surprised

Checked on the web site to find that the only gearset listed for this servo is FGS9206 and no 'nylon only' replacements are available!

I also noticed that the S9404 is the same speed and uses a coreless motor so I'll open one of those and see if the gears match, the number for there's is FUTM3401 but my local doesn't recognise that number so I'll have to wait till Monday to get hold of Futaba.
