In the manual of the 9C transmitter - regarding the "delay" function - it tells you, that you can adjust the delay separately for rudder, aileron and elevator.
On my radio the ”delay” menu only offers a possibility of setting delay for the rudder function. The aileron and elevator option is not even shown on the screen of the transmitter. I have turned the ”offset” function on.
What am I doing wrong, or does the manual tell you something that the software doesn’t provide ??

that's weird??

I have a 9CHP and my DELAY options are on the 2nd page (advanced heli set up). I get to page 2 find DELAY and press the knob in and I have an option to set a delay on all 3, AIL, ELEV, and RUDD?? You can't INH this function but buy having your values at zero there is no delay when you switch between flight modes. The DELAY function only works when you have OFFSETs programed into you flight modes.

I have the same thing happening as Per. I thought it might have been because of the CCPM. Does your machine have CCPM too?

I don't have CCPM on mine maybe that is the difference. Mine is called the 9CHP and is FM. I guess the delays work differently. I just commented because Per said he had a 9C not knowing which one.

Hi again

I didn’t give you so many details in my first question – sorry – this is what I have found out so far:
I have the 9CAP PPM/PCM. I fly the MA Fury 60 with CCPM control. I have tried all the swash-plate type available on the transmitter, and that has no influence on the ”delay” menu. The transmitter manual covers all versions of the FF-9 – 9CP/9CAP/9CHP. The manual says the only difference is in the switch assignment. Apparently the software should be the same. On the Futaba homepage FAQ regarding the 9C transmitter and the product description, there is nothing about this difference. Futaba customer service is for US citizens only, so this is a dead end for me.
I suppose there MUST be a difference in the software between the PPM only and the PPM/PCM transmitters ???
Any other suggestions/solutions will be much appreciated.

Hi per, try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/9CFutaba/ and post your question there. This is a yahoo group that is for the 9C that you will have to join. Sometimes AnnaMarie Cross pops in there and she might be able to answer your question.
