Aerobatic FAI F3C Contest > Is Governor any good for FAI?

Hi.
I wonder how many of you that compete also use a Governor?
I have a 90 ship that i'll compete with next season and a cheep 50 for 3D fun fly. For the moment i have a GV-1 in the 90 but thinking about putting it in the 50 instead.
I heard something about hovering is better without Governor if you have a good curve setup. What do you think?

Cheers Andreas

I am using GV-1 for both FAI and 3D.

During hovering the governor keeps the rpm steady , so you can focus
on the flying.
Also During landing and takeoff in the hovering manovers you will benefit from a constant rpm.

Try it
