Kyosho Caliber 30 & 60 - Concept - Nexus > Nexus 30 - blade length options

It appears the standard blade length for the Nexus 30 may be 535mm? I was wondering if the fiberglas 550mm blades could be used? Tower lists 515, 530, and 550 wood blades for 30 size helis, but no real reference which is the standard blade.
Any ideas what my options may be?

550mm blades

I asked about this a while ago..and I think it was Nexusnz that told me that he was using 550mm carbon blades on his nexus practicing for F3C competition..

I put some 550mm carbon Go-Quick blades that I bought from Heliproz, and with the exception of my stinkin gyro not being set correctly(new gyro) it worked fine. Was kinda hard to tell with the tail wagging all over the place till it finally tipped over and had a boomstrike, but it seemed to be fine.. Like I said, my problem was the gyro, not the blades. Other than that, my nexus should fly better with them (or at least a bit more smooth)

The nexus kit has 535mm blades but 550 blades are just fine for it with heaps of tail clearence.
Mine flys alot smoother with the carbon blades.

How about 570's

Anyone ever try to put 570's on a Nexus? I got a Sceadu 50 with those FRP 570's and they are really to small for the OS 50.....

Will the OS 32 handle them?

Will the tail blades clear them?

I could just try it, but I'd rather learn from someones experience first.....especially if it was a BAD experience

Thanks

I'd think you'd be pushing it with the 570's, if you had a hard landing I'd say that you would but them into the tail rotor, but you never know untill you try it!!!!!
The 32 might be struggling abit as well.
