Engines Plugs Mufflers Fuel > Pinch Test ??

I have read several posts that talk about the pinch test. What is considered correct ? Do you want to have an increase in rpm at about 3 seconds or do you want it to die at about 3 seconds ? Just trying to get my facts straight .

The point is that it should be rich enough to increase speed before it dies

Which needle needs to be adjusted?

When trying to achieve this, should we be playing with the Low end Needle (in the throttle arm) or the high end at this point.

Since we are talking about idle, you would think the low end needle, but I have been fooled with the "too obvious" answer before

Thanks

It is the low end needle adjustment you want to change. And remember the high end needle is the main gate to meter the fuel flow, so if you adjust it, it will have an effect on the low setting also.
