What kind of neural system are you using for the UAV helicopters? I have only used neural nets for nonparametric statistics, but it seems to me that 'learning' with a helicopter would be dangerous and costly.

Mike can explain this far better than I, but from the point of view of someone who knows almost nothing about the code, I can say that the avionics software (neural networks and other software) has been very reliable. I feel very safe working with the helicopter. If you haven't done so, take a look at our videos. The AutoCopter is extremely stable.
