I receive my new YS 61 ST2 from Heli Proz.

I was thinking to make a bench breaking with a Airplane prop but this engine does not come with a prop drive washer.

So I think the only way I can do the breaking it is mounted on the Raptor........................

So can you give me some idea I have to do in order to do not damage the engine.........

Neddles set up
how many tanks
etc, etc


I will be use 15% nitro

Read the instructions, the info you need is the starting settings. Break the engine in with the motor in the heli.Hover the heli for a tanks or two to make sure there are no flame outs and go from there. It took me a glow plug or two to get mine past the point that the engine ran smoothly, you may have to lean a bit to keep it running. The starting settings will be on the rich side so performance will suffer. It will take close to 5 gallons before the ST-2 will make its peak horse power.

YS .61 break in

I put one on my fury set the needels to startup setting and hovered one tank and I have been flying it from then I have 2 1/2 gallons of wildcat fuel 30% run in it now I have to lean a click or two every tank it gets stronger every flight

You might want to open the back of the engine
and check to see that there are no bits of
metal leftover from the machining operations
which could scratch things up.

Follow the directions, hover for a tank and
go fly really works
