Hi,

Is it possible to use two receivers with only 1 transmitter?
I was thinking that maybe using 2 of the same rx with the same crystal and a matching crystal for tx aswell would work?

Thanks

Giant scale plankers do it all the time. A friend of mine has a 20 foot B-29 with 4 receivers. Each has its own battery, too.

It wont work the way you want it to. The only thing using two rx will do is give you twice the servos ,two doing the same thing.

I've seen this on our field:
If someone is flying with your channel, its safe to put your soarer Rx on.
(Don't try this with E-planks) The guy flying is controlling two planes now, one in the air, one on the ground.

If the guy with the plane puts his Tx on.....
A nice for the other flyers.

yes you can but why?.. you can just use one rx... that is very redundant and useless if you do it that way

now instead of only one possibility of having a bad rx, now you will have two.....that's just one more thing that can go bad..that's just me though

why do you want to use two rx for a four channel function? Does the function or what you are trying to do really require it? If not, I'll just use 1 rx

If I had to wager a guess, I would bet that he wants to separate the turret and chassis stuff, so he can have unlimited rotation of the turret without winding up wires!

I run two receivers on my P-38 so that I dont have to run long extention wires. I have a receiver in each boom running half the plane.
