By "aftermarket", do you mean one not produced by Robbe/Schluter?

Or are you referring to the Cuatro (sp?)?

Steve ,
I think this heli that Futurac(alex) is talking about is a after market heli, not a genuine Robbe.

Don't confuse it with the new Robbe "Quattro"(spelled "Cuatro")

Hey ALEX could you post a pic w/o the canopy on it so we can see how the mech's are layed out?

Looks like a one piece engine mount....(finally)...Hopefully there will be a few parts we can upgrade our Robbe machines with

Steve, at's all aftermarket...nothing to do with Robbe.

I believe it's made by the German fellow cranking out the Robbe upgrades and the new Monster engine gear sets.

Aftermarket Heli

guys

i still dont have other pictures. final tests are done right now.
i am waiting tight to get details and other pictures.
dont confuse, nothing to do with Quatro Robbe.
this heli is made on basics of Robbe, but really nothing to do with robbe.
the heli is differently designed, different mechanics, carbon parts, belt drive and much lighter, as i said, at same moment i will have details, they will be posted asap.
i am as well waiting to recieve this kit, but still no production.

Okay, thanks.

Maybe this guy ought to do the same copycat job on the Futura???

One wonders if the "suits" at Robbe realize just how badly they blundered by yanking the Futura? Do they even care???

They lost two sales, for sure; and I've spoken with two reps who are mightily peeved- one of whom will probably vote with his feet.

"Ve vill giff you vhat you need!" Gotta love the superior German attitude...

Good point Steve,

I already know two pilots that have voted "with their feet".

Gary Wright and now Erich Stoltz.

Robbe...WAKE UP!

Minicopter

This is actually a heli that is designed after an electric. The Joker is an electric 32 cell heli that is 60 sized. The manufacturer is Minicopter, a company in Germany, they decided to make a glow version of it. If you will notice it has a moving flybar system, that makes the need for bell/hiller mixing not needed.

Ben

If it ain't broke, don't fix it !!!

That would be cool Raptorflyer,

But it looks pretty much like the standard Robbe rotor hub.

Plus a few aluminum goodies on the mixing base.

Too these tired old eyes, it looks like it has the same bell/hiller mixers that Robbe has used on the Futura, Milli and Nova. They do look to be aluminum, however.

I don't know who all may be behind this new heli endeavor, but I wish them all the luck getting this machine on the market and being successful in the long run. I would like to see someone take up the Futura design and tear Robbe up with sales of it. Basically, Robbe has lied to us over the last 2 years with respect to the SE and I don't really trust them now to keep their word on maintaining parts, other than what is common to the Nova and Milli.

The pictures appear to show the same Robbe 45degree offset in the head, if so, I would think they might have a real fight on their hands from Robbe.
