Thank you for the commendation....much appreciated. Being compared to Ron Lund is truely a complement.
Safe-cracker,
I can understand your frustration, but I feel my first responsability is to my previous clients - the Canadian network.
They are the dealers that purchase from me and my company and supported us in the past and still do today with the other brands that we distribute. So I owe them and their customers my support for as long as I can.
We are a relatively small country/market compare to the USA (we have only 1/10th of your population spread over a larger land mass!!) or Europe or most Asian markets. Consequently, if I would open my inventory to the world, it would be a short time indeed before I would not have anything to support those who supported us.
On the other hand, I could open my inventory to everyone on a first come, first served basis, make more quick money and have less risk of being caught with a lot of inventory that may have to be binned later.(write offs are always very costly), But I do not think that would be fair to the Canadian team TSK.
I worked very hard to make TSK a top brand in Canada (if memory serves me correctly, 18 out of 32 contestants at our 2000 Nats were flying TSK.) So I feel I must keep them flying here as long as I can. The demise of TSK was tuely a tragedy, as the MyStar series was without a doubt one of the best buys in high quality helicopters.
I cannot speak for distributors anywhere else, only for myself. So if I feel I must support my own then I must do so.
Please accept my apology, and I hope you can understand.
