| I called the ama today and talked to Carl Malone the man in charge of their insurance dept.,
he said "The Ama never said he didn't have insurance, they just aren't saying ether way untill all the facts are gathered and can be examined"
That means, the pilot in question says he did apply for his ama licence before the accident, {he never recieved a membership card}, ama is checking to see WHEN he applyed, and when/if it was paid for,
Then they said that when they have compiled ALL the facts they will then say if he had coverage or not. Carl said this is their busiest time of year, they get thousands of letters/faxs a month, they will have to go though them all to find this guys and verify it before they admit whether he had insurance or not.
So before you get a rope lets see if he had coverage or not. Ok?
If he did, Great!
If he didn't, then we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
I wish the best to the Houston club that hasn't gotten their field back yet, thanks in part to the ama and this insurance issue, I wish you guys the best! Hang in there, go tick off some plankers |
