Now that the training is complete Wildcat is booking shows for our Bell 47 for the upcoming year. We already have a few signed up and will be trying to make any shows within a reasonable flying distance, but most locations will be considered. On certain shows the Wildcat Bell 47 Support Team will be following us with our service trailer and show orders for fuel will be accepted and delivered to the show. Please e-mail me for shows dates. I will respond as soon as possible with an answer once the location and dates are verified as to schedule and conflicts. See you at IRCHA.

Fuel

Thanks for the e-mails and questions. I am going to answer your questions here instead of in the e-mails for others that may have similar questions.

1) We must know the show date at least 1 month ahead of time, the earlier the better so as to avoid scheduling conflict.

2) The support team will come any time we have a distance of greater than 200 miles and transports extra fuel, lubricants (grease), hydraulic oil, covers, and transport of doors ect.

3) The support team will atend any time we have requests and orders for fuel at a show that can't be handled in advance.

4) We can bring up to 450 gallons of fuel to a show. Show discounts do apply.

5) Although we cannot sell rides due to insurance requirements, we will have a drawing for a "Free ride". This ride is provided as a charity "gift" ride and is provided by myself and wil require a waiver.

6) Yes, we can do a candy drop per FAR 91.

Keep the e-mails coming as the dates are filing up faster than I thought. I look forward in supporting your shows.

One in every group.

I guess I could have expected at least one of these type posts, but oh well, I have big shoulders, I guess it comes with the territory. You can always tell the type by no posts and no profile...doesn't take much imagination. Thanks for all of the e-mails so far, I will be sorting through them over the next days and setting up the show schedule for the new year. Wildcat has been very pleased to serve you this year and will be offering our Christmas special as usual in December. I will keep you informed as to when we will make the announcement. Our next project for the 2005 season will be a turbine powered Helicopter called the Helicycle. We will continue to show the Bell but the Helicycle will be the Helicopter we will be able to transport to more shows by trailer. Got the heli bug real bad.......... www.helicycle.com .

Trailer the Bell..

Jerry,
You should consider trailering out the Bell for a West coast tour. I have seen several of them trailered and heard they trailer very well.

Trailering

fitenfyr,

Good to hear from you. Yes, we considered trailering, but given that it takes a special trailer (not cheap) and you have to fly on and off the trailer, which is where I hear most of all accidents happen by dropping a skid off and getting dynamic rollover. I decided for at least the first year I would just fly it to the shows.
