About the church,
Can we start getting donations? I swear the learjet we'll buy will be used to "spread the word" hehehe .

About the auto,
yeah piroflipping autos are a bitch when you have no tail control but it could have been easier had I found the damn kill switch. I'm always concerned about a possible chicken dance after the crash and when I know it might possibly crash I always like to kill the engine. I was all thumbs trying to find the kill switch and I had to settle for the throttle hold switch but the iddle was a bit high so it kept pirouetting forcing me to piroflip the auto on the way down. My fault for not familiarizing myself with the location of the switches before flying it. I sure learned my lesson.

Regarding the tailblades,
It has happened after around 15 flights
The one on the Fury was an MS blade and the one in the X-Spec was an MAH. Pete Panos had the same problem with an NHP so it seems this is a more common problem than what we were aware of and it seems to be happening to more than one brand. Both blades had brass centers. Sharam's also had the brass center and it seems to be an MS.

That incident happened a week ago. This weekend I used some servo grease on the blade holder and so far it doesn't seem to be suffering.
Before it happens it starts with some whitening of the blade holder contact area due to what I believe is some burning of the fiberglass due to friction from the leading and lagging of the tailblade. I also thought about using a very thin teflon washer.

If you're Jesus, turn water into cool power 30% and fly without a transmitter. Then I'll believe it.

cripskillz, if you're going to try a parawedding, I'd get a prenutual first, in case the parawedding auto doesn't go so well!

Augusto, it might seem silly to ask, are those brass centers glued in?

the nhps are almost never glued in, sometimes never even put in, dunno about the mah blades.

are you running the t/rs locked? a lot of the manufacturers stop at an aftwise chord balance (uniform density t/r blade) to keep the t/r blades as light as they can. the tendency being that t/r blades want to lead / lag if not locked down and vibrate the t/r pretty good.

Agusuto, with your flying you don't need the damn tail blades. Hell you don't need the entire tail system. You always fly pirouetting nonstop. You even pirouette when your not flying so there you have it the pirouetting Jesus of helicopter.

Agusto

A friend locally had a similar problem using NHP tail blades with his Vigor...... NHP's had the "insert" in place...... One of the tail blades let go....

Curtis (he was here over the summer for a fun-fly) mentioned something about the Vigor's tail blade grips and the NHP tail blades..... some "mod" needed to prevent this problem........

Sorry, I don't fly a Vigor so I didn't pay much attention to the whole issue......

Maybe the person who had the failure can speak up, if he's "listening"......

Anyhow, the problem does not seem to be strictly with your setup.....

Sorry but the photo was in extreme bad taste. I emailed you with my concern. You then repost it. Thus, you leave me no choice but to add your URL to the RR censor routine.
