I am having problems with a re-build of a Heli-Boy(Bell222 Trainer).
There seems to be a common mis-conception that these two Helis are the same, which has caused me problems trying to get information for it.
I recently got from DenisS , who is UK based a pic of the components laid out before assembly, whilst this has been an enormous help, it has not been able to solve all my problems.

Does anyone have any Building plans for the Heli-Boy(Bell222 Trainer)

I am so close to this bird flying but I am not happy with the clutch area and associated bearings for the start shaft.

Hope you can help.

Doug,

I finally figured it out, on the Heli-Star the two bearing blocks that house the start shaft bearings are of different sizes, and on the Heli-Boy they are both the same size.The lower block goes all the way down and actually holds the top of the primary gear in place, once I figured that out and corrected it, I lost all the movement I had in my clutch housing.
I'm just charging up the battery now, so it will be tomorrow now until I see if she will lift off. I have got up to 8deg of pos pitch which I hope will be enough.
Pics in Gallery seem OK. I'll post some more as soon as I figure out how to put the captions in.

have you got the scale bell 222 for yours.. ive got a heli boy to and i have the 222 scale fuz.. i think its a bit to heavy fot the heli to cope well with.. it is useless at autos
