Hi,

I finally fixed the problem with my Intrepid gasser engine. I was having trouble starting and keeping the engine running. It was running way too rich.

After trying all of the much appreciated advise, I removed the carb, disassembled and cleaned throughly, carefully reassembled and reinstalled it.

I started the engine per everyone's advise, and it ran like a champ!

I'll fine tune it this weekend and give it a go. I just purchased some new v-blades so I'll be interested in how these blades perform as well.

I'll post opinion about this bird next week after some air time.

Thanks,

Tim.

Hey, Darkstar.

I went one step further. $30 later, I bought a whole new carb. Stuck it on the bird, pulled the cord, and it lept to life.

Now I can clean and repair the old one at my leisure.

Regards,
