I have a Futaba Super 8UHP. I have the 2 available mixes being used for aileron/throttle and elevator/throttle to keep power through flips etc. The question I have would be, what does the link function do? Ive read the manual and Im still confused. A real good explanantion is appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!!!!!!

I'd like this explained, too. Maybe some of the gurus can share their knowledge with us. Thanks.

i use the link with my flying wing (jazz xtreme) for the 2 "elevons" which are the only control surfaces
one goes up and the other down for roll and both up and down for pitch
I use the link to link both funtions so the trim works both servos for roll and both for pitch, and it works well too.get a rx and a couple of servos on the table in front of you and have a play, worked for me

8U Link

Link is necessary only when you would need to trim two channels together, such as dual ailerons. Left aileron on channel 1 and right aileron on channel 6 driven by a PMIX. The link tells the trans to apply trim to both channels simultaneously, other wise trim would be applied only to channel 1. In your case, leave the link off.
